Letter from Kalamazoo Gospel Mission
Dear Toya, Greg, Nicole, Gwen, Ebony, and other friends at the Foundation:
There simply are no words to express our gratitude to you for the wonderful Community Feast that was held last week. All of us, staff and clients alike, were just amazed at the time, energy, but most importantly, love that was put into the planning and implementation of the dinner. The meal was absolutely delicious, the room looked just beautiful, and the bouncer, games, television and other recreational activities were wonderful additions to a wonderful event.
And of course, thank you so much for the unbelievable gifts you presented to our staff, clients, and the Mission as a whole. I honestly was amazed at the generosity you showed to us all. I am working with our Director of Residential Services, Kevin Munn, on meeting your requests as to where to place the televisions, microwaves, and football games within the Mission, and know that they will be appreciated and enjoyed by literally thousands of clients in the months and years to come.
I plan to send a letter to the editor of the Kalamazoo Gazette about the wonderful Community Feast, because we believe the community as a whole needs to be aware of the spirit of the Greg Jennings Foundation. Again, it was truly a privilege and an honor to be your invited guests at this dinner. I know from first-hand conversations with the clients who did attend that they are deeply appreciative and had a fantastic time.
It is wonderful to have an organization like yours in our troubled community. God bless you all for the great hearts you have for the less fortunate among us, and I hope the upcoming Christmas season is a joyous one for all of you. You have certainly exemplified the true Christmas spirit through your generosity!
Sincerely,
Donna Pearce
Director of Development
